After bisque fired first head, I attempt to fit antique eyes but eye hole was not big enough. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The dome of antique eyes are so high, I have to make another head with larger eye cut. \u00a0So I poured another head today.Got to start all over again.<\/p>\n

After this greenware dried, it goes into kiln to be soft fired. I use wet-cleaning method and the greenware have to be hard enough not to break when wet but also have to be soft enough to be able to sand and cut. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 I often work with one head at a time because my kiln doesn’t have much space inside. But most of all, I want to focus on one doll at a time instead of mass producing.<\/p>\n
