I recently had an offer to be featured on ” Antique Doll” magazine published in Russia. Antique doll collecting and reproduction doll making are still new in Russia. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0I order to provide much needed information to Russian doll enthusiasts, very first antique doll magazine was published last year. \u00a0I am extremely honored to be featured on this magazine as a doll artist.<\/p>\n

\u3053\u306e\u305f\u3073\u79c1\u3068\u79c1\u306e\u4f5c\u54c1\u304c\u3001\u30ed\u30b7\u30a2\u306e\u30c9\u30fc\u30eb\u96d1\u8a8c\u201d\u30a2\u30f3\u30c6\u30a3\u30fc\u30af\u30c9\u30fc\u30eb\u201d\u306b\u63b2\u8f09\u3055\u308c\u308b\u3053\u3068\u306b\u306a\u308a\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002\u30ed\u30b7\u30a2\u3067\u306f\u30a2\u30f3\u30c6\u30a4\u30fc\u30af\u30c9\u30fc\u30eb\u306e\u53ce\u96c6\u3084\u3001\u30ea\u30d7\u30ed\u30c9\u30fc\u30eb\u30e1\u30a4\u30ad\u30f3\u30b0\u306f\u307e\u3060\u65b0\u3057\u3044\u5b58\u5728\u3067\u3001\u305d\u308c\u3092\u5c02\u9580\u306b\u6271\u3046\u96d1\u8a8c\u306f\u3042\u308a\u307e\u305b\u3093\u3067\u3057\u305f\u3002\u305d\u3093\u306a\u30ed\u30b7\u30a2\u306e\u30c9\u30fc\u30eb\u30d5\u30a1\u30f3\u306b\u5fc5\u8981\u306a\u60c5\u5831\u3092\u63d0\u4f9b\u3059\u308b\u305f\u3081\u3001\u6628\u5e74\u3053\u306e\u96d1\u8a8c\u304c\u5275\u520a\u3055\u308c\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002\u305d\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306a\u753b\u671f\u7684\u306a\u96d1\u8a8c\u306b\u8f09\u305b\u3066\u3044\u305f\u3060\u304f\u3053\u3068\u306b\u306a\u308a\u3001\u3068\u3066\u3082\u5149\u6804\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n

I had photo session with local photographer Gina Munda back in end of March. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 To meet deadline of magazine, I had to finish my 24 inch Bru by photo session day so that she can be photographed. I also needed my portrait with my dolls but I am not very good at being photographed since I am kind of camera shy. On top of that, I was ill on that day from busy schedule in March, I woke up with swollen face with body ache. Despite of my poor condition, Gina performed magic.She photographed wonderful images of me and my dolls. Gina is not only a photographer but also an artist. She instantly understood what kind of images I was looking for in limited amount of time we had for session. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 When I photograph my dolls, they appear more like catalog images because I need to be able to show all detail of doll parts. On the other hand, Gina’s images are very artistic with depth.Her images seem to capture different side of my doll,almost like she is alive. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 I just love how she photographed my new Bru doll.<\/p>\n

” Antique Doll” \u00a0magazine is published four times a year and I will be on summer issue this year. \u00a0Please check on their website<\/a> to peak on what’s inside of the magazine. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0I can not read in Russian but I can tell this book is full of useful information. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0I better study how to read in Russian !<\/p>\n
