Finally, I finish the jacket!<\/span><\/div>\n
It felt forever since it’s mostly done by hand stitching.<\/span><\/div>\n
I added another antique metal buttons in front.<\/span>I don’t know how they made such tiny buttons with detailed patterns back then but they sure add more depth to the dress.<\/span><\/div>\n
These decorative antique buttons worth much more than gold to me.<\/span><\/div>\n

Next step is the skirt.It will be three layered pleated skirt.<\/span><\/div>\n
I know I should get a pleater. Making these tiny pleats ( 5mm wide) by hand is a killer in this heat.<\/span><\/div>\n
I was ironing for two hours to make three rows of these pleats.<\/span><\/div>\n
I truly admire doll dress seamstress in 19th century. Nobody spent this much of time and effort to make ” child toy” anymore. They are nothing but work of art.<\/span><\/div>\n
