My training paid off becasue I was able to run entire way this time. This running took place at elevation over 6000 ft (1800 m) so some runners may experienced problem with altitude. I live at about 5500 ft and that&#8217;s where I trained so I was even able to run uphills where many runners were walking instead. I am extremely happy for what I accomplished at my age. In fact, I never run such long distance when I was young.
