The WDD Show & Sale event on May 4th was a huge success despite the weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you so much to the people who came to see us in the pouring rain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was able to meet many followers of my dolls and that was the best part of the show. I only do very few public events so meeting customers and followers in person means a lot to me. Also reuniting old doll friends, meeting new doll friends are another best part of attending doll shows. My son came as my helper and he was a great help! We really enjoyed the event. Driving over I-80 Donner Pass was a little concerning because late season snow storms dropped 1-2 feet of snow on the mountain while we were in California. We stayed overnight at the hotel and we stopped by an antique mall on the way back home the next day to wait for the road to dry out at mountain.. The road was clear with snow by the time we hit the summit so we made home safely. It was a short but very meaningful trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both of my dolls – 11″ Jumeau and All Bisque Kestner found a new home at the show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
