If you could have your perfect Bru doll from head to toe, what would she look like?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have to say\u2026 this girl is pretty darn close to my ideal Bru .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She\u2019s my first creation in my new studio, and I really wanted to make something special to celebrate this new chapter\u2014while also going back to where it all started. I began making dolls 26 years ago simply because I wanted to create the dolls I dreamed of owning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As collectors, we\u2019re always searching for that \u201cperfect\u201d doll\u2026 and they\u2019re so hard to find!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s why my motto has always been, \u201cIf you can\u2019t find it, make it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s what keeps me going.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I used an antique Bru Chevrot body and antique glass eyes for this special doll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Naturally, I wanted to create a dress in classic Bru style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Antique Bru dolls in original condition often wear tailored dresses with simple yet very stylish hats. I wanted to capture that look with this doll, and I hope I succeeded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Honestly, if I could own my dream Bru, she would look just like this\u2014same dress, same wig, same face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She took much longer than I expected to finish, but I\u2019m so happy with how she turned out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope you enjoy seeing her as much as I enjoyed making her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
