A Happy New Year!
My 2008 started out with back injury and had to stop doll making for a while.
I once thought I never be able to make dolls again.
Guess what, I was so busy at the end of year trying to catch up with my delayed schedule.
I was exhausted but at the same time I am so thankful that I am still making dolls.
What a year I had!
I like to thank everyone who supported me all this time and encouraged me to keep making dolls.
My work speed is still slow but I will try my best to keep the quality of dolls and keep improving my skills.
The latest creation I added to my website was 19″ Bru Jne 11 I finished just before Christmas.
She has an angelic face with dreamy expression that warms your heart.
I am so happy that she made to new house by Christmas and was able to bring back Christmas morning excitement to new owner.
I have made quite a few 19″ Bru Jne 11 since this is the most popular mold and size doll among my reproductions.
Yet they all are made from the same mold, each of them have deferent face and personality.
This is the very fun part of doll making. It never gets old and I can’t have enough of it.
It always makes me excited to think about next doll I will be making and sharing doll talk with my doll friends.
I especially enjoy photos from my customers to see how they dress up my dolls with their taste.
I get so many eye opening ideas and discover new faces of my dolls that I didn’t even think of when I had them.
Thank you again for letting me know how much you enjoy playing with them.
I couldn’t be happier to know how much they are being loved and that is the best prize I can ever ask.
Hope all of you will have a better and wonderful year in 2009.
I am planning to visit my family in Japan this summer first time in more than 10 years and I am very excited!

I am really thankful to you for the beautiful doll you made for me!
You deserve to be considered a real Artist, your creations are not mere repros of antique dolls, but masterpieces…
