After base style was decided, I layout pieces of fabric and lace over the actual doll body to see if the design works for the doll. Well, this design had too much pink on her and didn’t go very well.

次に実際にパーツをボディに当ててみて、このデザインが似合うかどうか確認。　　残念ながら、このデザインはピンクが多すぎてボツになりました。

So I layered antique lace over torso and skirt area to reduce amount of pink. This is what finished dress looks like.

胴体やスカート部分をレースで覆ってピンクの濃さをやわらげたら落ち着いていい感じに出来上がりました。完成品はこちらです。
