I made new arms for my 16 inch Bru Jne.
Fortunately I had stock of bisque arms I made previously. Upper arms were made from kidskin over metal. I took pattern of upper arm from antique Bru Jne doll and made my own pattern. I used vintage kidskin to make arms look aged. Now she is almost ready to be dressed!
Ｂｒｕ嬢の腕が完成しました。幸いな事に、以前作っておいた予備のビスクアームがあったのでそれを使いました。上腕はシートメタルを筒円上に丸めて、その上に山羊の革を被せてあります。上腕の型紙は、オリジナルのアンテイークＢｒｕＪｎｅドールから型取りしました。胴体部分と色が合うように、ビンテージの山羊革を使いました。あとはショルダープレートと胴体を固定する胸のスキャロップベルトを着けて完成です。これでいよいよドレス制作へ進むことが出来ます。
Now she is ready to be dressed! I go ahead made her Bru shoes too. これでドレスを作ってもらえる準備が出来ました。Ｂｒｕ靴はすでに作ってあります。
The color of upper arm seem to be darker than the body on this photo but they look pretty similar in actual doll.
画像では上腕上腕の色が濃く写っていますが、実際の色はボディにかなり近いです。
