Here is a Bru dress for my newest 15” Bru doll I just finished. This design is my favorite style to dress my Bru dolls and I use it quite often. The original design was from an antique Bru doll owned by Mildred Seeley and the pattern is available from several different companies. ( I usually alter some details the way I like) I never get tired of it no matter how many times I make them.

新作Bru嬢のドレスが完成しました。またまた定番のBruドレスのデザインを使ってしまいましたが、このデザインはBruの素晴らしさが一番引き立つのではと思い、もう何着も作っています。生地と細部のディテールを少しアレンジすることで、ベースは同じでもそれぞれ違った雰囲気に出来上がります。今回はエクリュのシルクブロケードにパステルピンクのシルクサテン地を合わせました。とても愛らしい雰囲気のドレスで、今回制作中のBru嬢によく似合います。さて次はおそろいのボネ制作に取り掛かります。

スカート部分のプリーツはプリ―ターを使わず目分量でアイロンがけします。こうすると、ちょっと不揃いなプリーツができてヴィンテージさが増します。

Working on 15” Bru dress little by little. Try not to over work my neck and shoulders. The most complicated part of the jacket is finished at last.

I used silk brocade fabric taken from this antique Victorian bodice. This color and patterns are very hard to come by and I had to use it for my precious doll . (｡･ω･｡)ﾉ♡

前回の教訓から学んで、肩と首に負担をかけないように少しづつ作業を進めています。とりあえず、ジャケットの一番手間がかかる部分が出来上がりました。次は袖とスカート　(;^ω^)

エクリュ色の素敵なブロケード生地は画像のアンティークドレスを解体して使いました。なかなか手に入りにくい素敵な色と柄です。
