I’m working on the dress for my new 19-inch Bru.

I chose this pink fabric from an antique bodice with mutton sleeves.

The fabric makes her sweet face look even sweeter!

I will be giving a program on how I make my doll dresses at the luncheon event in October in Pleasant Hill, California.

She will be one of the dolls I display as an example.

新作のBru嬢のドレスは、アンティークのドレストップから採ったピンクのシルク生地を使うことにしました。このドレスはマトンスリーブと言って、袖が羊のもも肉のように大きく膨らんでいます。なので生地がたっぷり採れて重宝します。１０月のカリフォルニアでのイベントでは、私のドレスメイキングについての講演をする予定ですが、この子もモデルとして展示する予定です。

Chevrot-style Bru body for a 19-inch doll is complete! I added an antique finish to the leather and lower legs. I can finally start working on her dress next!

She will be my costume model at October luncheon event in California.

I made this 7-inch all-bisque barefoot Kestner doll to be offered at the live auction during the October luncheon our doll club will be hosting with the Bay Area Doll Club Council.

She has beautiful antique blue blown-glass eyes and a mohair wig made with antique mohair. I’ll be making her dress next!

I’m excited to see her come together. Hope you can join us in October!
