I received another beautiful photos from a customer. This Bru was sold without a dress and now she is dressed in red holiday dress. She looks very angelic and I could almost use it t make Christmas card!  It’s so nice to know my dolls are being loved by new owners and they look happy. Thank you for sharing these wonderful photos!

先日お客様から素敵な画像を送っていただいたので、ここでお披露目したいと思います。　この娘は過去にドレス無しでお嫁に行きましたが、新オーナー様がこんな可愛いクリスマスのお支度をしてくださいました。もうこのままクリスマスカードに使えそうなくらい、愛らしく撮れてますね。とても幸せそうなのが画像から伝わってきて、私もとても嬉しいです。新オーナー様、ありがとうございました。

You might be tired of hearing me but I am still painting Triste head.  I did touch up painting this morning and she is back in kiln again. I hope I can finish her this weekend. LOL     Meanwhile I am posting my Bru doll photos which was sold in the past but never posted on my website or blog. She is a 24 inches Bru Jne 11 with Chevrot style body. I took pictures of her with mohair and human hair wig.  Please enjoy her angelic face!

すいません、もう聞き飽きたかもしれませんが、まだトリステは絵付け中です。今朝タッチアップの絵付けをしてキルンへ入れたところです。今週末には出来上がるといいのですが。。:-) お待ちいただく間は、過去にお迎えいただいた未公開のBru嬢の画像を載せますのでお楽しみください。この娘は24インチのBruJne11号です。シェブロースタイルのボデイーに、モヘアと人毛の両方のウィッグをつけて撮影しました。

I spent all day painting eyebrows of Triste head #2. It’s in kiln finally and I hope I can find a good result tomorrow. 🙂  I received these photos of Bru doll I made few years ago and she was dressed by a customer recently so I like to share with everyone.                             She is dressed in beautiful mahogany brown silk dress with intricate design. So beautiful! Every time I receive photos from customers, I am amazed with their sewing skills. I can feel lots of love poured into the doll by new owners and that makes me extremely happy!     Thank you so much for sharing these precious photos with us!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!                                                                                                I don’t have any progress to show Triste head # 2 so far. End of the month and beginning of the month are very busy time for me as a nurse and I hardly have time for doll making.   I am posting another photo of Triste head # 1 I took under natural lighting.                     Hope everyone will have a wonderful family gathering today!

トリステのヘッド＃2は、まだ進んでいません。月末と月初めはいつもナースの仕事の方が忙しくて、なかなかドールメイキングをする時間が取れないでいます。今日はアメリカでは感謝祭のホリデーです。と言うわけで、一日中お料理をしています。今朝自然光で撮ったトリステ＃１ヘッドの画像を貼っておきますので、お楽しみください。

I am still working on second Triste head. Meanwhile I gave early Christmas gift to my first Triste head I made and I like to post her new photo. It’s an antique black straw bonnet with beautiful ribbon work at the top. Unfortunately pictures do not show the detail of black ribbon. Hope everyone will enjoy her new look.                                                             Playing with dolls is such a great stress reliever! 二つ目のトリステヘッドはまだ制作中ですが、一作目のトリステにちょっとはやいクリスマスギフトを買ったので画像を載せます。アンテイークの黒いストローボネットです。トップのリボン飾りがとても凝っていて可愛いのですが、写真ではよく見えないので正面からの画像だけです。ちょっとシックな感じなって、また違うお人形になってみたいで楽しいです。                   ストレスが溜まっているときは、こうやってお人形遊びをするのが一番ですね。皆さんはもうお気に入りの娘にクリスマスギフトを買いましたか？

先日、以前私の作品を買ってくださったお客様から素晴らしいお支度をしたBru嬢の画像が届きました。ドレスは新オーナー様による作品です。素敵な仕上がりです。

By the way, first Triste head I made ( with smaller eye cut) did not look good with antique eyes but she looks okay with modern glass eyes. I had few requests from people who want to see what she looks like, so here she is.

ところで、一作目のトリステヘッドはどうなったのかと言うお問い合わせがあったので、画像を載せます。アンテイークアイではアイカットが小さすぎてだめでしたが、現代もののグラスアイではまあまあ大丈夫なので、このままで家の娘としてとっておくことにしました。

She will stay in my collection as is for now ….

I found out my first trial head needs eye cut adjustment after I completed painting.              It happens all the time but bit disappointing.   🙁     Will start over with new head and now I know which area needs to be adjusted. This is common procedure when I work with new mold. It’s just very time consuming  ( sigh….)

*************************************************************************************************絵付け完成後、グラスアイを入れてみて判りました。アイカットが少し小さすぎました。　　ガーン 🙁                                                                                                                                    初めて使うモールドや、しばらく使ってないモールドで作るときは良くあることなのですが、やっぱり落ち込みますね。でも、たたき台ができたおかげで次にどこを直せばいいのか解ったので、次のヘッド制作へ向けて作業開始です。でも今年中の完成はちょっと無理っぽいです。

After struggling with eyebrows for few days, I was able to paint base shape of eyebrows. At next firing ( 5th firing) I will be doing touch up painting of eyebrows and other area, adding cheek color. I was lucky enough to find antique Jumeau body with straight wrist, same style body that was used for antique Triste. It’s been re-strung and ready for a new head.  Hope this head will be good enough for the body!

*************************************************************************************************数日間取り組んでいたトリステの眉毛、ベースになる絵付けがやっと思うように描けました。次の絵付け（5回目のファイヤリング）で、眉毛と他の部分のタッチアップをしてチークカラーを入れ、上手くいけばそれで完成です。幸運にもアンテイークのトリステと同じストレートリストタイプのアンテイークジュモウボデイーが手に入ったので、（このタイプとサイズは見つけるのがかなり難しいです）あとはヘッドの完成を待つばかり。果たしてボデイーに見合った良いヘッドが出来上がるでしょうか。ドキドキ。

It’s been a while since I painted Triste face. I have been painting Bru for last few years so painting Triste eyebrows is becoming a challenge.
